What is GDPR?

The disclosure only covers this website and no other website, portal, section/page/space linked through links, owned by third parties or by Italiaonline S.p.A., for which reference is made to the respective disclosures.

1. Who is the Data Controller?

2. What types of data do we process and how long do we retain them?

a) Browsing data Information systems and software procedures responsible for the functioning of this website acquire, in the normal exercise and for the only time of the connection, some data which are then implicitly transmitted in the use of Internet communication protocols. Said information is not collected for the purpose of associating it to users but, by its very nature, may, through processing operations and associations with data held by third parties, allow for their identification. Said data are deleted few hours after the processing.
b) Cookies
This website uses cookies or markers, which technically are information packages sent from a web server (in this case, this website) to the user’s browser and by the latter stored on its device (personal computer, tablet, cell phone, etc.) and automatically resent to the server on every subsequent access to the website. Data will be stored for the time necessary to deliver the service requested and to handle complaints, if any. Your personal data will be communicated to third parties only in case the communication is necessary to comply with requests of the same users, as specified in the specific disclosures of the single services, or to simplify – at your request – registration operations to third party websites/applications. You will not be asked to provide health data and, in general, special categories of personal data as referred to in article 9 of the GDPR (sensitive, biometric, genetic and criminal record data).

3. How are your data processed?

Your data are processed with the support of computerized and telematic means and are protected through adequate security measures suitable to ensure the confidentiality and integrity thereof. In particular, Italiaonline adopted and adopts appropriate organisational (distribution of roles and responsibilities in the performance of the activity and controls), procedural and technical (firewalls, antiviruses and other advanced technologies) measures to protect your data against loss, theft, and unauthorised use, dissemination or variation.

4. What are the purposes and legal basis of the processing?

Italiaonline processes your anonymous browsing data referred to in item 2.a for the purpose of monitoring the technical functioning and performance of the website, to understand how services can be improved and evolved. Said data are necessary to ensure the delivery of the website. The data referred to in item 2.b are used for the purpose of deriving anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and controlling its proper functioning (they are accordingly necessary to ensure the delivery of the website) and to show advertisements, as better explained in our Cookie Policy. When the services offered by the website are free of charge and funded by advertisements, the legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller expressly provided for by the GDPR (please see above under item 2.b). As regards the data under item 2.c you are invited to read the specific disclosures of the single services.

5. To whom may your data be communicated?

Anonymous data referred to in items 2.a and 2.b could be communicated to partners and suppliers supporting Italiaonline in the delivery of this website. Should italiaonline communicate your personal data to third parties (for example as regards services you registered for), they will act as autonomous Controllers or will be appointed by Italiaonline as Data Processors. You are entitled to request the updated list of said Processors via email to the address info@italiaonline.it Furthermore, your data could be communicated to persons, entities or authorities to whom the communication of data is mandatory by operation of law.

6. What are your rights?

You can access your information at any time and ask for its update, rectification and supplement, as well as erasure, transformation into anonymous or block. You may also object in whole or in part to the processing.
